Hermeros 

History

The Hermeros are a group of merchant nomads who travel the world in search of trading / expanding their business. The band is well known for having mysterious products for sale and for their very androgynous looks. In the past they were a small group of slaves used as entertainment / prostitutes in Referendus castle for a greedy king and his relatives who liked to collect extravagant treasures, among them, beautiful people. In a revolt, the Hermeros decided to burn the chambers of their owners and the palace, saving on one side the royal treasures for future businesses. After fleeing the country, the tribe decided to free slaves in need and live their lives to the fullest recruiting only beautiful people in possession of extravagant treasures. 

Ecological factors / Distribution:  

The tribe comes from a place similar to the south east of Asia, they travel through the Harirun road selling their merchandise. The weather is arid normally around 50 ℃ and drastically drops near 10 ℃ or lower. The clan doesn't necessarily stay together; they are scattered among different countries among the silk road, the whole group has about a hundred members.

Language / Mannerisms:

They speak a mixture of Arabic / Chinese, and have a secret language sign among members to avoid their conversations to be heard by outsiders, they also kiss each other on the lips when they greet among members of the group. The Hermeros aren’t very expressive with their emotions, they seem like it but in reality it is hard to read their intentions or what they are about to say when interacting with others. Most of the times, they want to portray positive vibes to attract costumers, for this reason many people love approaching them, they’re known for being natural charmers. 

Physical looks / Roles / Relationships with outsiders : 

The Hermeros are known to be extremely androgynous looking, they are very slim and most of them have long hair. They dress in really thin layer clothing and carry animal pelts to prevent the cold. No gender roles are defined among them. They like to find attractive and interesting people and play with them, they try not to be in committed relationships with outsiders and sometimes they end up breaking hearts because of their playful nature. They also have no defined sexual orientation and some of them are even asexual.

Family structure:

Since they were just released from the "Harem" (prison), no families are born yet in this clan. They still keep in touch with their relatives but they teach each other daily lessons that makes them get as close as a family can get.

Economic system:

They are called the Hermeros Belt, each member being placed in a specific area covering a certain portion of terrain of commerce. Connected they form a trail that common folk usually follow, looking for their products. Each member sells different things they've found / exchanged in their region, there are different merchants, exotic foods, weapons, artifacts, etc. Yet they focus on selling treasures to adventurers.

Hierarchy:

There is a Sheikh who controls every node of the belt through a group of watchmen who inform the status of each merchant. The watchmen are a group of androgynous looking people that often patrol certain areas to see if the other merchants are selling successfully. The Sheikh has the biggest shop in the belt and two of his subordinates are in control of the sales, his face is rarely seen unless a crime in the tribe is commited.
